A dream come true

Passion, enthusiasm, commitment, courage: these are the foundations that in 1999 allowed us to start building a concrete space where our dream and our ideas could become reality.

The ideas were to produce very high quality soaps.

We wanted to create an original and exclusive product such as to be able to insert it in a market dominated almost exclusively by quantity.

Thus was born the Saponificio Artigianale Fiorentino: a name, a story that is a whole program:

Sapinificio Artigianale because at the center there must always be the ability of man to transfer his history and his skills to the soap product.

Artisan soap factory because the artistic and environmental values of Florence and Tuscany find specific and important cultural and social references in the “soap”.

The soap factory was founded in Figline Valdarno (Florence) at the end of the twentieth century in a large garage.

It was born from the desire of two young people who have invested all of themselves in a difficult bet for some, risky for many.

An artisan workshop with few means but with a great desire to do and above all to emerge, "The Art of Quality" becomes the constant reference of our work.

Quality of perfumes and raw materials accompanied by artistic creativity as regards the images of the packages and the shapes of the soaps.

The soaps of the Saponificio Artigianale Fiorentino (SAF) are no longer just a hygiene tool but become quality products enriched by original artistic images.

The considerable success of this business line had as an immediate response the enlargement of the production spaces, the inclusion of new technologies, the increase in qualified personnel and the expansion of the commercial proposal.

To give a further boost to our history of corporate excellence, we decided to equip ourselves with a highly innovative soap-making plant on a technological level with an investment of great importance in terms of economics and human resources.

This choice, among other things, has allowed us to enclose the entire production cycle within the soap factory.

The "small" soap factory has become after twenty years a BIG company present on the national and international market with an offer of products proudly and exclusively "made in Tuscany" capable of responding to a demanding and qualified clientele.

Products that bear witness to a land rich in memory, art and culture.

In 1999 we made a bet, in 2019 we think we have won it.

We have been able to dream, to take risks, to be visionaries and innovators.

All accompanied by integrity, rigor, love and ... a pinch of luck,
