Munich was the best place to start a new German fashion brand. In the mid-sixties and seventies, Munich was in full swing: there was a euphoric belief in progress and the future was not in danger. Certainly not in Munich, a city so close to Italy that has always been more in line with the “dolce vita” than anywhere else in Germany. At that moment everyone was relaxed and enjoying life: Flower Power! Evenings! Love! Discos! The Jet Set!

The design of the 60s and 70s reflects this freedom. He was young, sleek and futuristic, with an accent on the color orange.

It is this freedom, the special feeling of that time, that inspired the young AIGNER brand.

Wild horses were better suited to those wild years with their wild parties. The AIGNER Racing Days, an event organized by the prestigious brand just outside Munich, quickly became a reference in a society still unaccustomed to such events.
